1. Can I move the end of a relationship line to a different position on the node? For example, I'd like for the line to originate on the left side of one node and end on the top of another node.
2. Can I add text to a relationship line to explain the relationship?

Totally agree. We need the ability to label the relationship marker with text or a number/icon/image, so one knows what the
nature of the relationship is—simply linking two ideas isn't very informative.
Also, we need the ability to choose different styles (e.g. dotted line) for the relationship marker (currently only solid line). For example, a solid line indicates a strong/main/direct/etc. relationship, a dotted line indicates a weak/secondary/indirect/etc. relationship.
I also like the original idea and the ability to choose different styles to visually indicate different types of relationships.
I'd also like to be able to click on one end of a relationship line and go automatically to the node it's related to (this may already be possible but I have not worked out how yet - I'm working with a large map when fully expanded and being able to automatically get to a linked point with a click would be very handy when editing).
NICE!
I would love a concept of "weight" on relations (that would translate has thickness for the drawing style) allowing me to highlight how things are related.
Easy to do is you use SVG/vector drawing tech and much harder if you use raster/bitmap tech ;)
That is definitely one thing that keeps me from using MindMeister with my class. I need for them to be able to put text on the relationship lines. I would also love to be able to move and reverse the links.
Thank you.
I agree completely. Labeling relationships is very important to indicate what a relationship means. Otherwise what is a connection but a related idea with no context? Reversal of connections is a great idea as well - in addition to creating bi-directional relationships (and if this is already an option, then apologies - I'll need to take another look, but I don't think it is). Thanks...
It would be nice to have the possibility to add bidirectional relationships or two relationships in both directions between two nodes.
