I love the ability to export to a document.
But the nodes normally and up jumbled.
What about this solution. Consider the mindmap like a clock. When you export, the nodes at 12 o clock would be at the top of the page, the nodes at 1 o clock would be just below, at 2 would be below that, etc. so nodes at 11 o clock would be at the bottom
it would save having to reorder the nodes in the exported document.
Would also be nice to export to a word file, but that's not a big deal
thanks again for mindmap!

We are currently improving our export features as well as adding .doc support.
It would be nice Nodes could be numbered or arranged according to the clock as Asher suggest above.
an sync option with word would be very useful
the idea is to make minmiester recognize styles in word (like headings) and make a map out of it
the great thing would be that you could edit the mind map and then sync it with the word document in order to change the structure of an almost ready draft
We can't sync MindMeister with a word document but we can export maps to word,... and we will soon!
At a minimum, Mindmeister should be able to take a non-indented, non-tab plain text file with outline numbers and create a mind map based on the outline level, clockwise from 1, to 1.1, 1.2, to 9, 9.1, 9.1.1, 9.1.1.1.1. This would be a good work around to problem of how to import an outline numbered Word document into Mindmeister to make a map, or edit. I need to have output in outnline numbered format, for people who think and can only understand that; but I like to work to and from a mind map.
