Change node color

I don't know whether or not this was intentional, but there is no longer the option to change individual node color.  I just started using mindmeister and was loving it, but after the update, this change really irks me.  I find color coding very helpful when mapping, and node color was best as it was easy to see when the map is smaller.  It completely changed the look of my map in the middle of creating it.  I really hope this change is either a glitch or temporary.

I also found this annoying.  I agree with the poster above, in that colour coding was a very useful feature, which seems to have disappeared :-(

Any ETA when we'll see this feature back?

Fully agree with everybody on this subject.

Also very important the border of an individual node (box) to be a changable option (this used to be available too and disappeared).

Also very important is the colour and style of the LINES (same, disappeared).

All these have to be available at the top-level properties (where they used to be), otherwise it is too laborious to use!!

I am unable to use MindMeister for my presentations and/or sharing as I now have to explain with words, that before a colour and a border was able to show.

I like the new version very much, but with these features having disappeared, I need to look for an alternative.
I ma UK director for an international company and would be promoting MindMeister, but unable to do it now.

Please help!!!!!

ETA?!!

It is now dec 16 and I didn't use Mindmeister for a few months now, due to above problems. I stil can't find options as node colour and border- and line options. Mindmeister promised to bring these features back, but is this going to happen in the near future? I don't believe this any more.

Node colour can be easily changed - there 3 options under 'color' menu: one is text, second is color of node background and third is inactive (but promising :) ).

Connection color can also be changed in the following manner: at the source of a connection there is a circle, which can be clicked to open a context menu with 'connection color' option - selection of colors is limited, but it's better than nothing :)

I tried everything but I don't see a circle anywhere on the connection.

@Dyslexia_Action For me it looks like this: the connection ends with an arrow and starts with little circle. When I move a pointer over the circle (in current version Chrome browser) an icon of a pen appears inside the circle. After clicking the pen, a context menu appears with options: 'Connection Color' and 'Delete Connection'. Maybe you should try it with another browser....

Sorry. That's only for secondary - relationship - connections between the nodes. What I want to change the color of is the main connection between nodes (sorry my Mind mapping terminology is a bit lacking).

AFAIK it's only possible for whole theme, not for individual connections... But it's a nice idea :)
