I like the recent make over. However, one issue that I was hoping to see resolved is the somewhat unruly placement of the connector endpoints. The Bezier control helps, but ultimately the endpoint are extremely difficult to read. Meaning, I cannot easily tell which nodes are "connected". Sometimes the endpoints are at the top or bottom of the left or right edge of a node. This makes it almost impossible to tell which node the connector is actually attached to.
Is there any way to control endpoint placement?
Ideally, for readability, the endpoints should be centered on the left or right edge of a node. Otherwise the connectors are almost useless.
Hope this can be fixed...

I agree. The added flexibility of controlling the connectors is good but seeing which node the connecter starts from is unclear. BTW The new look and features are very impressive.
How do you remove a connection?? I'm a newbie and maybe it is obvious, but I've spent waay to long trying to figure it out. Also, is there no searchable help??
I´m not sure, but I believe the nodes were in boxes in the previous version? I can´t find a way to format them again in this way and it really sucks if this was "downgraded" automatically.
I completely lost my overview.
You can remove a connection by just clicking in the end point (circle) and a popover will show up with further options including removing the connection.
The borders around nodes can still be set in the custom map themes: https://www.mindmeister.com/help/map/themes or changed by opening the color palette and switching to the border color.
We are currently optimizing the connection endpoint behavior.
